British Man Seized For Sexual Assault In Magaluf
A 48-year-old British tourist accused of sexually assaulting a 20-year-old girl at a hotel on Mallorca has been seized by the Spanish police.
The victim, also a UK holidaymaker, is said to have been attacked by a stranger at a Magaluf hotel in the Calvia region, in Mallorca, Spain, on the morning of Thursday, 3rd August, at around 10 am.
Local media reported that the girl told the hotel’s reception that the man had grabbed her from behind and put his hands under her briefs, groping her intimately.
Hotel staff called the police, who immediately deployed officers to the scene and arrested the man, who is now being investigated for sexual assault.
The case was subsequently handed over to the Civil Guard.
At the time of writing, neither the aggressor, nor the victim, nor the hotel had been named and there were no further details regarding the incident.
Magaluf is popular with British tourists and is known for its sometimes wild nightlife, sandy beaches and wide range of recreational activities.
