Jade Jagger Fined In Ibiza For Assaulting Police Officer

Mick Jagger’s daughter Jade has taken to social media to post a snaps of her holiday in Ibiza after a local court fined her EUR 2,200 for assaulting police officers in on the party island.

Jagger appeared in court on the party island on 19th May after she and her much-younger boyfriend were arrested on the night of 17th May for assaulting National Police officers at a restaurant.

The officers had been called to La Oliva restaurant in Ibiza’s Dalt Vila neighbourhood following Jagger’s boyfriend’s “erratic” behaviour.

Local media reported that the court released Jagger after she testified and paid a fine.

Her boyfriend, Anthony Hinkson, was sentenced to four months in prison for assaulting a law enforcement officer.

Jagger, 51, was fined EUR 10 per day for four months for a serious resistance offence.

She was also fined EUR 10 per day for 20 days for minor offence of causing injury.

Additionally, she was ordered to pay the victim EUR 800 in compensation.

It was earlier reported how up to seven officers had to restrain Jagger’s boyfriend, 31, prior to the couple’s arrest.

After a week’s absence on social media, Jagger took to Instagram last night (22nd May) to post a snap of her son Ray and her granddaughters Erza and Romy for her 84,800 followers.

She wrote: “Only joy and love and family time #travellingwithray @cannegosfarm @therocketstoreboscastle”.

The post comes amid reports that a Spanish lawyer hired by the Sindicato Unificado de Policia (Spanish police union) is seeking a retrial and a harsher sentence for the jewellery designer.

The lawyer, Eduardo Luna, said: “When you’re resisting arrest and a police officer is injured, that’s an assault. And assaulting a police officer in Spain can be punished with prison.”
