Savage Attack After Bar Argument Leaves Man In Hospital

This is the moment two thugs beat a man with a walking stick senseless and then use his cane to smash up his car as he lay bleeding on the ground.

The two were later arrested for the savage attack on the 48-year-old unnamed man that took place in the town of Miranda de Ebro in Castilla y Leon, early in the morning of 10th September.

This footage taken by an anonymous witness shows the victim arguing with one of the suspects, while the other suspect pushed him back down the street and tried to take away the cane that the man was carrying in one hand.

As the second suspect kept pushing the victim, he suddenly delivered a single punch that instantly left the disabled man knocked out on the ground.

The first suspect can then be seen taking the cane from the victim and using it to smash the victim’s car, breaking windows and damaging the bodywork.

He destroyed a large part of the vehicle and then threw the cane back at the victim as a bystander attempted to help the beaten man and tried to wake him up.

Officers from the Miranda de Ebro National Police Station reportedly arrived later on and found the 48-year-old man lying in a pool of his own blood next to his damaged vehicle.

The victim was transferred in an ambulance to the Santiago Apostol Hospital.

The police’s reported working theory is that the trigger for everything was an argument that the suspects and victim had while in a bar after someone sprayed pepper spray over several individuals which resulted in confusion.

Officers reportedly find out that the alleged aggressors and the victim knew each other and had been engaged in what appeared to be a friendly relationship before the violence broke out.

The footage of the attack made it possible to identify the aggressors who were arrested a few days later, according to the police.

The detainee who caused the injuries reportedly turned out to be a 22-year-old man who had previously been arrested for assault, while the one who damaged the vehicle was a 32-year-old man who had been arrested a total of 21 times in the past.

After going to court, both men were reportedly released.

The 32-year-old was reportedly arrested again a few days later, this time for the theft of a vehicle.
