Facebook Killer: Babysitter Lured To Death By Ad
A killer who lured a young mum to her death with a Facebook ad for a babysitter is being hunted by police.
Victim Carla Agostina Trigo, 22, had replied to an ad from a man claiming to be a trucker looking for someone to look after his two children.
Carla arranged to meet with him on Sunday, 3rd July, after celebrating her son’s fourth birthday with her family.
But police in San Martin, Mendoza province, Argentina, say she disappeared on the date of the interview.
Her body was discovered on Wednesday, 6th July, in a derelict rural warehouse after a police search with sniffer dogs and drones.
Police say she died from a savage stab wound in her back near her kidneys.
Her body was covered in wounds from when she had fought desperately for her life.
Forensic experts found several animal bites, leading them to believe her body had been there for several hours and that she had been dead for around 35 hours.
According to reports, Carla had moved with her young son to San Martin to live with her grandmother after suffering gender-based violence.
She worked in a bakery during the day and was finishing her school studies at night.
The investigation is ongoing.
