Speeding Car Loses Control & Crashes Into Street Bar

This is the moment an out-of-control motorist ploughs into two people sitting at a table on a bar terrace in Spain and ends up injuring four victims in total.

The incident was filmed at a bar on Plaza Espanya in the city of Sabadell, in the north-eastern Spanish region of Catalonia, at around 2pm on 20th March.

In the video, two men and a woman are seen enjoying a drink on the terrace as the out-of-control car smashes into their table and sends two victims flying.

The car appears to miss a dog and the other man by millimetres before crashing into the front of the bar.

Official sources told the news site Antena 3 that the incident was accidental and not intentional.

However, three people suffered minor injuries, while a fourth victim was hospitalised in a serious condition.

The victims have been identified as a 63-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman, who were taken to Terrassa Hospital, and a 61-year-old woman, who was rushed to the Hospital Parc Tauli de Sabadell.

A fourth victim, a 70-year-old man, was treated by paramedics at the scene.

Four fire teams, six ambulances, and several police units attended the accident scene.

Reports said the incident also caused significant damage to the bar and a tree.

According to Antena 3, the driver suffered a medical episode when the accident took place, causing him to lose control of the car.

The man, name not reported, later tested negative for alcohol and drugs, but he has been charged with reckless driving.
