Shocking Head On Collision On A7 Motorway Leaves 5 Dead
At least 5 people are dead and 4 in a critical state in hospital following a head on collision involving four vehicles on the A7 motorway near the municipality of Rotglà i Corberà in the province of Valencia.
The accident, which took place last night, Sunday 30th January at 10.20pm, is believed to have involved four passenger vehicles at Km 395 of the motorway heading to Alicante.
The Civil Guard believe that one of the vehicles was driving in the opposite direction and hit the vehicles head on.

The Valencia Provincial Fire Brigade dispatched three units from nearby Alzira and Xàtiva stations, while additional emergency first responders including ambulance and civil guard were rushed to the scene of the accident.
According to the Emergency Coordination Centre * CICU, the dead included two women aged 18 and 89 and three men aged, 20, 21 and 87.
The four hospitalised accident victims include two women aged 66 and 77 and two men aged 18 and 65.
Firefighters were able to rescue two people who were trapped in the vehicles.
The accident investigation is ongoing.
