Toddler In Critical Condition After Falling From Second Floor Window
A 16-month old baby girl has been seriously injured after falling from a second-floor window in the Villaverde district of Madrid.
The tragic incident took place at around midday, yesterday 3rd July at an apartment block near the Avenida de Andalucía.
Emergency services responded rapidly and the little girl was stabilised before being rushed to the Hospital 12 de Octubre with severed head injuries.
The Madrid emergency unit SAMUR also provided counselling to the mother who went into shock and is believed to have suffered a panic attack.
The little girl is believed to be stable receiving treatment for severe cranioencephalic trauma from the fall.
