Cristiano Ronaldo And Girlfriend Pay For Boys Cancer Treatment

Juventus star and former Real Madrid Galactico, Cristiano Ronaldo and his Spanish partner Georgina Rodriguez have agreed to pay for a seven-year-old boy’s cancer treatment.

The touching news was reported by the Portuguese star’s sister-in-law Ivana Rodriguez on Instagram where she has 334,000 Instagram followers.

The message said: “Tomas is already on his way to Barcelona to carry out some tests and start his treatment against cancer at the Hospital Vall d’Hebron.

“Thank you @goerginagio and @cristiano [referring to their social media handles] for your help and big heart. Infinite gratitude for helping us get Tomas the treatment he needs.”

Local media said Tomas is a seven-year-old boy from the Portuguese city of Braga located in the region of Norte.

He suffers with neuroblastoma since 2019, a type of cancer that can form in the spine, neck, chest or abdomen but it may also form on one of the adrenal glands.

It is the most common type of cancer to affect babies and the third-most for children.

Ronaldo and Georgina Rodriguez have been together for four years and have a daughter in common who they raise alongside the Juventus star’s three other children.

Georgina grew up in Jaca in north-eastern Spain with a Spanish mother and an Argentine father.

She started out studying dance before changing careers and becoming a model after studying English in London.
