Sexual Abuser Arrested In International Operation

Spanish national police have arrested an Argentine national in Madrid for sexual assault against minors.

Police officers swooped on the fugitive´s home in the Spanish capital yesterday, 10th December, after a week long surveillance operation to confirm the identity of the man.

The arrested man is accused of sexually abusing his two nieces whilst they were his care at his home in Buenos Aires in 2011.

Both victims were under 16 at the time of the alleged attack.

In November of this year, the Argentinian authrorities issued an International Arrest Warrant Red Notice for his immediate location, capture and return to Argentina to face criminal charges.

He will now face extradition proceedings in the Central Criminal Court in Madrid.
