Pilot Makes Emergency Beach Landing In Costa Del Sol

A trainee pilot who was practising in the Costa del Sol had to make an emergency landing on the beach when the engine suddenly failed.

The aircraft landed on the beach of Las Lindes de Torrox, in the city of Malaga, in the southern Spanish region of Andalusia, Costa del Sol touristic spot on Tuesday.

The emergency service received a call from the control tower of the airport of Malaga around 11.15 am warning about the emergency landing of the aircraft and that nobody had been hurt.

Police, emergency services, firefighters and Spanish Civil Guard rushed to the area in order to attend the emergency.

It is said that there was a failure in the engine of the aircraft although it has not been officially confirmed.

The Civil Guard is investigating the case.

The people who were in the cockpit were not injured and there have not been damage to the aircraft.
