Viral: Crying Tot Pleads To Leave Home In Spain Lockdown
This is the viral moment a cute toddler tearfully pleads to leave the house for a stroll during the present two-week lockdown in Spain.
The incident was filmed in an unspecified location in Spain and the footage was shared on Facebook by netizen ‘HipHopActual’ where it is going viral with over 832,000 views.
In the clip, the adorable girl, named Bea, is seen repeatedly pleading for her dad to take her outside to “the street”.
The video was accompanied with the message: “If poor Bea cannot go to the street, we can’t either. Nobody is going through this worse than she is. Let’s all make sacrifices.”
In Spain, schools and childcare centres have been closed as all residents self-isolate at home for a minimum period of two weeks.
Spanish residents can only leave their home for work or to visit the supermarket, pharmacy, bank or medical centre. Locals can also leave their house to attend elderly loved ones or those dependent on others.
Dog owners are also allowed to leave their homes to walk their pooch, but only one person at a time.
After the video of little Bea went viral online, netizens used the hashtag ‘todos somos Bea’ (‘we are all Bea’) in a show of solidarity with the cute tot’s frustration.
Netizen ‘Moreda19’ commented: “Poor girl, how can you explain this to children…”
