Brit Teen Films Self Climbing Top Of Barcelona Cathedral
The British teen who was arrested for climbing a tower block in Benidorm without safety gear has struck again after filming himself scaling the Barcelona Cathedral.
Nineteen-year-old Adam Lockwood who goes by the name ‘The Little Nuisance’ on Instagram, climbed the 90-metre (295-foot) cathedral before seemingly spending the night in a sleeping bag inside the building.
Footage shows him near the top of the cathedral at night with the city lights surrounding him. The clip then shows a sleeping bag high inside the building with the captions “06:29” and “this place is massive”.
He then goes outside and climbs one of the spires, writing “the main one isn’t possible to climb”. He then records himself with a camera in his mouth hanging onto the top of spire the cathedral’s spire before saying “f*ck, I’ve got to get down.”
He said in an interview with Spanish TV channel Antena 3 that “it could look dangerous, but if you know what you are doing, nothing happens”.
The Cathedral of Barcelona is a Gothic cathedral built between the 13th and 15th centuries on the site of the former Romanesque cathedral.
It is unclear if the authorities are investigating the case.
In February, Lockwood, who describes himself as a “professional idiot from the UK”, was arrested for climbing a tower block in Benidorm, in the southeastern Spanish province of Alicante, Valencia region.
