Fire Eater Burns Himself In Three Kings Parade

The incident was filmed during a parade in the city of Valladolid located in the central Spanish region of Castile and Leon, and the footage was later widely shared on social media.

The accident happened in front of a crowd of around 1,000 people, according to reports.

In the video footage, the 42-year-old victim is seen walking alongside a performer playing King Caspar while ‘eating fire’ in front of spectators on either side of the designated route.

However, at one point the man’s face and chest appears to catch alight and he is seen frantically running around before falling to the ground.

Meanwhile, colleagues manage to extinguish the flames and the man gingerly gets to his feet as audience members applaud.

According to local media, the fire eater was taken to the Rio Hortega University Hospital in Valladolid to be treated for burns injuries.

There have been no further updates on the 42-year-old man’s condition.

It is also unclear whether the local authorities will look into the matter.
