Moroccan Motorist Smashes Through Spanish Border

This is the moment a Moroccan motorist breaks through the border between Spain and Morocco as frantic cops give chase on foot before reportedly arresting the suspect in the city centre.

The incident was filmed at the Tarajal border area between Morocco and the Spanish autonomous city of Ceuta in northern Africa, and later shared on Twitter and Facebook.

Filmed from the Moroccan side of the border, the suspect is seen crashing into a barrier as shouting cops jump out of the way.

The Moroccan suspect, who has not been named, then forces a white car out of the way before speeding through border control with a railing trapped under the vehicle.

Frantic cops give chase on foot as their colleagues appear to have let the illegal immigrant through several other checkpoints.

According to reports, the police chased the suspect into the city centre and finally arrested him near Chorrillo Beach.

The Moroccan national’s vehicle was reportedly checked to see if it was being used to transport drugs or illegal immigrants, but nothing was found.

According to local media, the suspect has been sent to Ceuta’s penitentiary as the investigation continues.
