Influencer Singer Posts Topless Pic In Bid To Beat Instagram Nipple Ban

This singing sensation posted this saucy snap of her and three other women posing topless on Instagram – where it stayed for three days – as part of a campaign to stop the platform censoring women’s nipples.

The women posed in topless

YouTuber and singer Melo Moreno, who was previously known as Yellow Mellow on social networks, shared the photo of her and three friends who have not been identified posing topless in a swimming pool on the island of Tenerife in the south-western Spanish region of the Canary Islands.

In the photo, the four women can be seen standing topless in the swimming pool pushing their breasts against its transparent side as they into the distance.

Reports state Instagram censored the photo and removed it from the platform before Moreno reposted it with the message: “Let’s see how long this picture lasts…I propose you take a screenshot and post it on your profile. Instagram should realise that it makes no sense to censor female nipples when male nipples are seen free.”

Moreno’s re-post reportedly stayed available on the platform for three days, receiving over 500,000 likes before being taken down by censors.

The YouTuber said she was shocked at the results of the challenge and said the movement she started is more transcendent than merely showing breasts.

Netizen ‘franchumrzz’ wrote: “This picture has been on Melo Moren’s profile for three is and I couldn’t be happier. Let’s see if we understand that we all have nipples and we have the same right to show them off.”

Moreno herself wrote: “Some people could be offended by different kinds of content… we delete pictures of female nipples, but the picture of scars of mastectomies (breast removal” are admitted.”
