Nadals Exculsive 600-Guest Wedding Revealed
The plans for Rafa Nadal’s luxury wedding which will feature a personalised menu cooked by a chef with three Michelin stars and 600 guests next month have been revealed.
The opulent bash will reportedly take place in between the final of Roland Garros (9th June) and the beginning of Wimbledon (1st July) in an abbey to the north of the city of Palma on the Spanish Balearic island of Majorca.
Reports state that over 600 guests are expected to attend the luxury wedding and three-Michelin-starred chef Quique Dacosta will be in charge of cooking for those invited.
Nadal will reportedly have a specially designed menu for himself based around vegetables and healthy ingredients so as not to interrupt his preparations for Wimbledon.
The current world number two has been dating his fiance Xisca Perello for 14 years and they were engaged in Rome last year.
Initial reports had suggested they were set to marry this autumn, but Spanish TV show ‘Socialite’ now report the wedding is expected to take place towards the end of June.
Perello is the daughter of Spanish construction mogul Bernat Perello and is close friends with Rafa’s sister Isabel Nadal.
