Ronaldo Super-Agent Calls Him An Alien And The Greatest

Super agent Jorge Mendes has called his client Cristiano Ronaldo an “alien” and claimed Real Madrid would not have as many Champions Leagues without the “greatest player in history”.

Mendes made the comments in an interview with Italian sports newspaper ‘La Gazzetta dello Sport’.

Speaking after Ronaldo’s hat-trick saw his side overturn a 2-0 defeat in the first leg to knock Atletico Madrid out of the Champions League, Mendes said: “He’s the best player in the history of football and he showed it on Tuesday. He’s an alien. He was epic, mythical, divine.”

Speaking about the Portuguese forward’s time at Real Madrid and Manchester United: “He’s become the best Real Madrid player of all time. Without him the club would not have won so much, the protagonist of the four Champions League wins was Cristiano.

“He made the difference in England, writing history for United and he will make history with Juventus.”

Ronaldo is the all-time leading goalscorer in the Champions League with 124 strikes and said after his exploits against Atletico: “This is why Juventus signed me.”

The former Manchester United man was part of the Real Madrid side which won three consecutive Champions League crowns and four in five years.
