Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Kevin-Prince Boateng has been filmed belting out a Michael Jackson hit whilst standing on a table in just his boxer shorts on his birthday.
Barcelona defender Samuel Umtiti recorded his teammate’s bizarre Michael Jackson tribute before their side’s Supercopa de Catalunya defeat to Girona last night.
In the video, Umtiti can be seen recording himself before switching the camera to show Boateng stood on a small table in the changing room.
The Ghana international is dressed only in a pair of tight boxer shoots which leave little to the imagination as he belts out Michael Jackson’s hit “You Are Not Alone”.
Boateng is singing into an imaginary microphone and Umtiti added the text: “Aka Prince Michael Jackson Boateng. Happy Birthday bro.” Boateng turned 32 yesterday.
Boateng started in his side’s loss which saw Ernesto Valverde field a weakened side, with the like of Lionel Messi, Ousmane Dembele, Ivan Rakitic and Gerard Pique not included in the squad.
Cristhian Stuani converted a penalty in the 69th minute for Girona after Alex Collado fouled Valery Fernandez in the box.
The Supercopa Catalunya has been held since 2014 and features the two highest-ranked Catalan sides in the Spanish football league. Girona sit in 14th place in La Liga whilst Barcelona are seven points clear at the top.
