Madrid Woman Driver Rescued As Leg Stuck In Car Wash
This is the moment firefighters work to rescue a bungling woman driver whose leg became stuck when she tried to get out her vehicle as it was going through a car wash.
The bizarre incident took place at a petrol station car wash on the M-503 road in the town of Pozuelo de Alarcon on the outskirts of the Spanish capital Madrid.
Local media report the woman had tried to get out of the vehicle when she thought it was out of the car wash but the door got stuck on one of the moving pillars.
As she was stepping out of the car as she opened the door her leg also got stuck and the fire service were called.
In the video, firefighters can be seen working to try and move the car with the woman’s foot sticking out of the door.
The firefighters eventually managed to move the car enough for the woman’s leg to be released and she can be seen hobbling as paramedics help her walk away from the vehicle.
The woman, whose name has not been reported, was then taken to the Puerta de Hierro Hospital in the nearby town of Majadahonda.
Local media report she suffered an anxiety attack but her leg was not seriously injured.
The emergency services reportedly took 30 minutes to release her leg and the car can be seen being removed from the car wash in the video.
